Plugging in to Greenville's art scene Watch for gallery and museum openings and receptions, go to them and get on their mailing lists. Local newspaper, magazine and journal writers do an excellent job covering special events and general artist bio features, however, there are no scholarly art commentary or criticism features.
First Fridays Gallery Tour This expands hours for these galleries on the first Friday of every month. Go see their website for all the details about First Fridays. Greenville's Open Studios tour is coming November 3 & 4, 2007, click here to view last year's online exhibition. Planning is well underway for Open Studios 2007.
