The Chick Springs Hotel

Post card illustration of Chick Springs Hotel, which was located near Greenville, in the town of Taylors. One cent postage dated September 16, 1921. The Chick Springs Hotel burned in November, 1862. The automobile made its first appearance in Greenville early in the century, and by 1904 there were five automobiles in the county. An automobile was used by the Chick Springs Hotel, which had reopened.
