From North Main Street, turn left on College Street. Bear right at Buncombe Street, turn right onto Rutherford Street, which becomes Poinsett Highway. Artist Statement:
Lu Wixon paints with acrylic on wood. Lu works out of a studio in her home which includes a wood shop. She designs her pieces either by employing the natural elements of the wood itself or by drawing, cutting out, painting and assembling up to several layers. Her subject matter includes energetic figures in motion, festive international performers, and stylized portraits.
