Artist Statement:
Sometimes I lead the search, sometimes I am led. Long ago I decided to make sure that I could paint a object accurately. Another part of me has always wanted to paint in the abstract.

I was a painter in oil of landscapes, even people. In the last two years I have moved to painting in acrylic and doing abstracts. This is where the spirit moves me. Sometimes the work is monochromatic urban industrial, sometimes bright and bold with a hint of the southwest. It is all joyful!
