Artist Statement:
For many years, most of my creative energy has gone into a series of color abstract photographs. Recently, I have also been experimenting with a variety of media and ideas, including oil paintings and drawings of figure and still life, a series of small, hand-built and sawdust fired ceramic pots and digital self-portraits. These are all an exploration of material and a meditation on the everyday moment lost in the passage of time. Although the works are related in theme, each series has its own voice.
