Directions:
Take I-385 from downtown Greenville to I-85 North/Spartanburg. Take Highway 14 exit. Turn left on Highway 14 towards Greer. At 4th stoplight, turn left onto Suber Road (after the Cherokee/Victory Building). Pass Riverside High School. The 4th housing community on the right is Riverside Glen. Turn right. Once inside, bear right onto Glen Willow Court. #112 is on the right.

Artist Statement:
My sole reason for painting is to capture those poignant, yet fleeting moments created by a ray of unexpected sunlight transforming a mundane object into a thing of beauty. I, therefore, draw on my surroundings for inspiration. When I find myself admiring an object, landscape, or even a simple patch of color illuminated by direct sunlight, my first instinct is to run and grab a fresh canvas. Painting with acrylic allows me to manipulate deep textures both visually and tangibly. When painting an image, I focus on capturing the contrasts and colors in a scene, rather than each minute detail.
