Artist Statement:
I have always been an artist. What began as drawing in my notebooks and on my shoes, nailing and gluing old boards together, and making sculptures in the snow, has now become my life. I communicate my thoughts, feelings, and experiences through art. I really make art because it is what I enjoy doing the most, it is what I do best, and it is an extension of myself.

My art is about life. What it feels like to be in a really spectacular place, listening to a song that moves you, or the company of certain people, all bring with them certain feelings and experiences. I like to capture and share these experiences in my work. I use anything and everything I have available to me to make art. I experiment with all kinds of media from drawing materials, paint, photos, digital media, and sculptural media, to broken printers, cans, and even junkmail. I am constanly learning and discovering new ways to create art and express myself through my work.
