Artist Statement
I create art because it makes me thrive. I create art because I want people to see my life the way I see it. I create art because it is exciting. Viewing just about anyone's work can give you a good idea about their lives. Who they are, what they saw. An autobiography in paint. I really take to that concept consciously as I draw, paint or work on my press. Every where
that I am, you will never find me without supplies. I can never miss an opportunity to capture something that might be so fleeting. The way light would be hitting a few empty chairs or cracks in the side of some brick wall. I see hundreds of chances every day and I try to get them all. Every place I eat, every time I see a band or show, sitting at my desk at work and even in church.
My work is my autobiography.
