Directions: From Downtown Greenville take 25-276 (Rutherford Road/Poinsett Highway) toward Furman/Asheville. Turn right on 291/253 at Cherrydale Shopping Center. Stay in left lane. Turn left on State Park Road. Turn right into Montebello subdivision. Turn left at stop sign. Follow Montebello Drive up the hill, #401 will be on the left.

Artist Statement:
Painting in a series has been most inspiring and rewarding. My series involves ancient cultures, especially American Indians. These paintings are abstract, and non-objective. I attempt to interpret the textural forms in rhythm and movement. My aim is for a strong, dynamic design. I create my paintings with all types of water media, painting in layers, burnishing away, collaging and scarring the surface. I want to leave some mystery for the viewer's imagination. If my paintings appear as a mere fragment or even a place, my wish is that the viewer will feel the spirit.
