Old Prevost home and former Costume Associates building has been demolished. During the 1970s-80s, Costume Associates supplied regional stage and theater, ad agencies, filmmakers, actors, and a long line of wild and wicked Halloween parties across Greenville and the Upstate. Built in 1910 at the intersection of McDaniel Avenue and McBee Avenue, it was rumored by many to be haunted, likely because it housed everything from monster masks, a thousand costumes to fake blood. The old house looked spooky inside and out. Easy to understand how rumors could start, but it wasn't haunted. Not a ghost in sight. More to come about this old homeplace.
